Eugenio Collavini "Il Grigio" Sparkling Pinot Grigio (Friuli, Italy)
Made of 100% Pinot Grigio
A crisp and light, refreshing wine with lots of ripe apple and pear notes. Bone dry and highly acidic, this is a fantastic palate-cleanser and a good way to start a meal off. Pairs well with shellfish and raw bar foods. I'd do it with garlicky mussels in white sauce.
Goat Cheese & Toasted Almond Crostini with Local Honey
Sparkman Cellars "Apparition" White Blend (Yakima Valley, Washington)
Made from Marsanne, Rousanne and Grenache blanc grapes.
A bold and rich, zingy wine with lots of apricot, herb, toasted oats and stone-fruit flavors. Dry and highly acidic, this wine is a citrus-bomb that compliments citrus-dressed apps, salads and seafood/shellfish. There's a slight sour tang to it that makes it great with goat cheese and creme fraiche apps. Try it with Nova Lox on cream cheese crackers.

Arizona Stronghold "Dala" Chardonnay (Wilcox, Arizona)
100% Chardonnay grapes
Pineapple and star fruit notes play off just a hint of fresh cream, almonds and baked apples in this broad chardonnay, which shows zesty, enlivening acidity, providing lots of muscle. Silky, mouthwatering texture and a long lingering finish. Pairs well with sole with a lemon beurre blanc, scallops wrapped with bacon on the barbecue or chicken cooked with cream and morels.

Peach and white blossoms are the first to show on the nose—it’s interestingly and unexpectedly inviting. The Pinot Noir grape delivers bright acidity and soft yet subtle characteristics of strawberry, watermelon and a touch of wet river stone. Weighty, clean finish.

Made from Tempranillo Grapes
A 90-point wine (Wine Spectator) made from 100 year-old vines in the northern part of Spain.
Foresty blackberry aromas come with a cola note and a dash of char. This feels full and rich, with wall-to-wall tannins. A mix of baked berry fruits and soy sauce flavors finishes with mild leather and lasting savory notes. This wine can age for at least 10 years if not more. It would pair with any savory meat dish, grilled steaks, game meats, hearty chilis and stews.

Made from a blend of Portuguese grapes
Fresh and soft, with a rich plummy texture, Maynards is a recent newcomer to the world of Port. Made for over 300 years in Portugal, this classic high-alcohol dessert wine (20% ABV) is often overlooked as an accompaniment to the final course of a meal. Its young, fresh, ruby color gives hints of the fiery cherry and strawberry flavors that come with the first sip. Port is a sublime pairing for veiny blue and Gorgonzola cheeses, dark chocolates, and yes - peanut butter and jelly.
